Minimalist? How about minimal-ick. The Golden Globes dresses were so incredibly boring. Boring boring boring. Boring like using the word "boring" over and over with no synonyms. Of particular disappointment to me was Emma Stone. Let's review. She was wearing a Calvin Klein Collection dress and Van Cleef and Arpels earrings.
Why? Why would you wear something that 1. clashes so unflatteringly with your newly Oompa Loompa'd skin, and 2. is so desperately underaccessorized. And am I the only one who doesn't like her as a blond? People are all raving about it and complimenting it, but I think it looks...not good.
Anyway, I think she should have worn this Gucci belt with it. I would have really liked that combination. The gold belt would be super-fabulous with the gold tassels hanging down. I would have turned it so that the tassels were hanging down the side, not the center. I don't know, the tassels hanging down in front of the crotch is a little odd to me.
